Elements are
smoothly added like lights going on in a nightclub, until the
vocalists step into the center and begin slyly trading verses.
Focalistic’s low growl contrasts with Stonebwoy’s buoyant—and
for a word, even falsetto—lyrical verses.

Since releasing
Anloga Junction in 2020, Stonebwoy has released a series of singles
and collaborations, anticipating his next full-length release and an
upcoming tour of the U.K. The Ghanaian artist seems to be working his
way across the English-speaking world, working with Vic Mensa
(America), Jesse Royal (Jamaica), Mike Akox (Australia by way of
Ghana) and now South Africa’s Focalistic.

The Pretoria-born
Focalistic has been on the rise, performing in Namibia, Tanzania and
Nigeria and scoring a platinum-selling hit with “Ke Star Remix,”
featuring Davido.
