Ticket Giveaway: Felabration 2016 at Nublu

<p class="p1"><span class="s1">We're super excited for this year's official New York edition of <a href="https://www.facebook.com/events/553653418152274/" target="_blank">Felabration</a>, the annual party honoring the musical and cultural legacy of the one and only Fela Anikulapo Kuti. The date of the show, Oct. 15, marks what would have been his 78th birthday.</span></p> <p class="p1"><span class="s1">Felabration 2016 will be held in the new location of the downtown staple <a href="http://nublu.net/" target="_blank">Nublu</a>. 151 Ave C will rock with the sounds of the <span class="s2">Nikhil P. </span><span class="s2">Yerawadekar</span><span class="s2"> and Low Mentality </span>Afrobeat Massive, a special, expanded version of Yerawadekar's <a href="http://www.nikhilp.biz/nikhilp/Home.html" target="_blank">Low Mentality</a> band featuring Amayo (Antibalas/Fu-Arkist-Ra) alongside other members of New York's own Antibalas and Akoya Afrobeat, performing classic Fela Kuti tunes, deep cuts and original music.</span></p> <p class="p1"><span class="s1">The young and ready <a href="https://www.facebook.com/SuperYambaBand" target="_blank"><span class="s2">Super Yamba Band </span></a>will open up, and <a href="https://www.facebook.com/dj.mickey.perez" target="_blank"><span class="s2">DJ Mickey Perez </span></a>will be spinning his characteristically eclectic selections of dance-floor bangers.</span></p> <p class="p1"><span class="s1">Shoot us an email with “Felabration 2016” in the subject for your chance to win two tickets to the official, Kuti-family sanctioned event.
