You Gotta See These Kids!
<p>On our program <a href="https://afropop.test.ejaedesign.com/29167/hip-deep-in-mali-growing-into-music-in-21st-century-bamako/" target="_blank"><em>Hip Deep in Mali: Growing Into Music in 21<span style="font-size: xx-small;"><span style="line-height: 10px;">st </span></span> Century Bamako</em></a>, listeners meet three extraordinarily talented children, young griots learning music in a challenging environment. But with kids this remarkable, seeing is believing. So here are two short videos.</p>
<p>First, Daniel Dembelé (10 years old) and Waly Coulibaly (7 years old) in a balafon duo at the home of percussionist and educator Adama Diarra in Bamako.</p>
