Zombie Flamingos with Spoek Mathambo

<a href="http://www.spoekmathambo.com/" target="_blank">Spoek Mathambo</a> is pretty busy! Here’s his latest work: a video for an updated version of his recent cover of Fela Kuti’s Zombie, which appeared on the recent tribute album, <a href="https://afropop.test.ejaedesign.com/wp/14894/red-hot-fela-how-to-approach-a-tribute-album/">Red Hot + Fela</a>. The album version featured Cerebral Cortex and SA indie-electro band<a href="http://www.thefrown.co.za/"> The Frown</a>, but this version also features South African artists: <a href="https://www.facebook.com/petitenoir1">Petit Noir</a>, <a href="http://zakiibrahim.co.za/">Zaki Ibrahim</a>, and Ukhamba Soul, and it is way more upbeat! <p dir="ltr">The video, directed by Kent Andreasen, begs the question: Birds of a feather flock together, but are flamingos in fact zombies?
