The 33rd New York African Film Festival returns this May with a monthlong celebration of African and diasporic cinema across New York City. Under the theme “As the Stars Sow the Earth,” this year’s festival brings together contemporary features, classic restorations, shorts, and filmmaker conversations that explore memory, land, migration, resilience, and the futures imagined by African and diaspora artists. From May 6 to 12, the festival’s Film at Lincoln Center program offers a rich window into the stories, struggles, beauty, and invention shaping African cinema today.

Tickets & Information
