Dancehall Stars Spice and Konshens Face Off Over Who's Going to "Pay For It"

<p>I must be hurting for some travel, because the video for “Pay For It” with Spice, the Queen of Dancehall, getting picked up in a Coaster Bus by Konshens really made me wish the video was just tooling around Kingston. Fortunately the song, produced by Rvssian, is a dancehall earworm, and while the video isn’t the municipal tour I might have hoped for, it’s funny and sweet. <br> </p> <figure><iframe loading="lazy" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/gZNunyi8_Lk" allowfullscreen="" width="500" height="281" frameborder="0"></iframe></figure> <p><br> Out fresh today, the song is from Konshens’s upcoming third album, <em>Red Reign</em>, slated for release this year on Ineffable Records. It follows on the heels of <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tY43T27TdbY&t=0s" target="_blank">“Can’t Stay Sober,”</a> and I expect both songs will be spilling out of vehicles of all sizes, from Jamaica to Jamaica, Queens this summer. </p>
