Sona Jobarteh on 60 Minutes, 11/13/22

<p>The inimitable Gambian kora maestro, composer and bandleader Sona Jobarteh will be the subject of a feature on CBS's Sunday news magazine <em>60 Minutes</em>, on November 13, 2022.</p> <p><em>60 Minutes</em> is one of the best shows on television when it comes to deep investigative dives into serious and often overlooked issues. But they also do superb cultural pieces. In this case, a team traveled to Gambia with Jobarteh to film. </p> <p>Also, Afropop's own Banning Eyre was interviewed for the piece. He didn't make the final cut, but will be in the Web extra, <em>60 Minutes Overtime</em>.
