New tango from Argentina from the band Contrabandeando. Their P.R. for the band’s third album talks about a new direction for the band. “Cumbia, a salsa, a landó and a boogaloo, with touches of huayno or reggae, show the variety in the repertoire.”

The U.K.-based Congolese singer Juanita Euka has been featured on our show before. She’s a niece of Franco of TPOK Jazz fame, and a trailblazer in her own right. Here’s a live video from Gdansk in 2022.
